R400 Rubber Application for Foam Roofs

New Foam
  1. As soon as the foam has set hard enough to support foot traffic, apply Pro Bond 200 to the entire surface and allow to dry.
  2. Apply 2 complete coats of R400 Rubber waterproofing to the entire surface. Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second. If spraying the R400, you must chase with a roller.
  3. No top coat is needed with R400. Due to the non chalking surface there will be some dirt pickup.
Old Foam
  1. Clean the entire roof covering with high pressure water. Take care to remove all loose coating and/or films. Allow surface to dry.
  2. If any coating or films remain, check the compatibility with the Polyester Membrane, prior to applying. If there is no problem with the material compatibility, proceed with the application as directed in the New Foam section above.

Installation Notes

  • Do not thin or dilute the R400 Rubber for any reason
  • One 5 gallon bucket of R400 should be used on every 250 square feet of sloped roof in 2 or more coats, to build up the required thickness.
