R400 Rubber Application for 90lb Roofs

  1. Thoroughly pressure clean the surface with water and/or detergent to remove any film, oils or foreign material that will inhibit bonding.
  2. Coat all loose seams with R400 Rubber Fiber. If any bubbles exist, cut them out and replace the paper. Embed the new paper and the R400 Fiber in the void and seal it to the old paper using R400 Rubber Mini Fiber.
  3. Apply R400 Rubber to the prepared surface by brush, roller or spray. If spraying, you must chase with a roller. Apply 2 complete coats, allowing the first to dry completely. Drying time is 1-4 hours depending on the temperature and humidity. Care must be taken to avoid any skips, holidays, voids and holes.
  4. It is recommended for anywhere that water lays or ponds, the Polyester Membrane be used.
  5. No top coat is needed with R400. Due to the non chalking surface there will be some dirt pickup.
